The Foundation is governed by an Executive Board and a Foundation Council. Members of the Executive Board must also serve on the board of a cooperative enterprise, with one member being appointed upon the proposal of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative Association. The majority of the members of the Foundation Council must be members of a governing body of a cooperative enterprise. In addition, the Foundation Council may include representatives from the business community, politics, and other relevant sectors.
